Experience Like a Local

See Edgerton through the eyes, ears, and taste buds of a local. Stroll through the beautifully restored downtown while sipping on locally-brewed coffee, sip on wine in the beauty of the great outdoors, and take a step back in time.

MOVE

FORE-ward

You can feel like one of Edgerton’s most famous locals by golfing your way through town. Play at PGA Legend Steve Stricker’s hometown golf courses Edgerton Towne Country Club, Coachman’s Golf Resort, and Creekview Par Three. Can’t choose just one? We don’t blame you. Make it an overnight visit at Coachman’s Resort and taste a little of each.

Back in time

Go on a treasure hunt through items old, new, refurbished, and eclectic at one or all of Edgerton’s vintage stores. Shop an entire barn’s worth of gold at Vintage Pickin’s or take a stroll through downtown and pop in and out of Ripples Resale, Feels Like Home, and Somewhere in Time.

EAT

Coffee Depot

Walk through the beautifully restored train depot to get one of the best locally-brewed cups of coffee around. Sit and enjoy a conversation in the cozy interior, or take your coffee with you to marvel at local architectural wonders like the former TW Dickinson tobacco warehouse and shop at Downtown vintage stores.

2 Brothers Downtown Pub and Grill + The Red Baron

Can’t choose between pizza or burgers? Have it both ways at local favorites 2 Brothers and The Red Baron, located right next to each other in historic downtown. Enjoy a classic Wisconsin fish fry or a slice of taco pizza while enjoying live, local music on the patio. Do you believe a Bloody Mary should be a meal on its own? If so, you have come to the right place.

Campbell Boys 53534

What seems to be your favorite ice cream shop on the outside becomes so much more when you take a closer look. Grab a cone of your favorite Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream flavors then shop through the Campbell Boys’ handmade candles, locally-made spice mixes, home goods, and other items in their indoor artisanal market. This shop is a must-visit if you ask the locals.

DRINK

Fermenting Cellars Winery

Enjoy the sprawling wooded grounds with a glass of delicious locally-made wines at Fermenting Cellars winery. Owners Bill and Mary Eckert make the wine in their log cabin home located right on the property, and are dedicated to treating each visitor like family.

There’s always something going on in Edgerton. Don’t miss out on the action.
