Lake Koshkonong

Lake Koshkonong is a 10,595-acre lake ideal for boating, swimming, fishing, and water sports in the summer. In winter, it becomes a frigid playground for snowmobiling and ice fishing. The lake has a maximum depth of 7 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings and public beaches. Fish include musky, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and catfish.

The lake and surround wetlands are home to a diverse ecosystem featuring American White Pelicans and Sandhill Cranes.
