Stories and Soil: Invasive Plants – A Call to Arms
July 28 @ 6:00 pm

Invasive plans are a serious problem for natural areas such as yards and gardens. Woody invasives include buckthorn, honeysuckle, and multiflora roses. The herbaceous invasives include garlic mustard, purple loosestrife, Japanese knotweed and wild parsnip. A Dane County Extension Horticulture Volunteer will talk about how to identify each of these invasives and ways to remove them from your yard and surrounding natural areas.
