Inspired by the true story of 19th century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt, Silent Sky tells the story of a group of women “computers” as they explore their place in society during a time of immense scientific discovery. As Henrietta attempts to measure the light and distance of stars, she must also take measure of her life on Earth, learning the importance of balancing work with family and the possibility of love. Filled with music and science, Henrietta and her peers take audiences on an adventure, changing the way we understand both the heavens and Earth. An Edgerton High School Drama production. Performances on Thursday through Saturday March 7, 8 & 9 at 7 PM and Sunday, March 10 at 2 PM.
