Sterling North, one of America’s great novelists, was an Edgerton native who lived from 1906 to 1974 and wrote classics such as “So Dear to My Heart,” “The Wolfling,” and the autobiographical “Rascal” which details North’s life raising a raccoon, the titular character. “Rascal” and “So Dear to My Heart” both were adapted to films by Walt Disney. Linda Robinson, retired cinema and history professor from UW-Whitewater, will discuss the film “So Dear to My Heart.”
