In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month and International Wear Green Day, Edgerton Hospital and Health Services is proud to host a special community event to promote mental health awareness and access to care in South Central Wisconsin. The event begins with a brief introduction by Edgerton Hospital’s President & CEO, who will speak about the importance of mental health and the hospital’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to mental health services in the region. Following the opening remarks, attendees will hear directly from some of the hospital’s dedicated mental health service and screening providers. Each provider will share insights about their role at Edgerton Hospital, their personal motivation for working in mental health, and the services available to the community. After the initial 15–20-minute presentation, the event will shift to an open house where guests can meet and connect with mental health professionals; access educational materials, tips, and tools for recognizing and improving mental wellness; and enjoy green-themed giveaways, refreshments, and treats to celebrate International Wear Green Day. Attendees, staff, and guests are encouraged to wear green to promote mental health awareness.
