The theme for this pumpkin decorating contest is Children’s Book Characters. As a family, create your very best book character pumpkin to be entered into the contest. Craft supplies will be provided. Patrons will vote for their favorite pumpkin until October 31, when the votes will be counted to determine the winning entry. Each family may enter only one pumpkin. The library will provide one small (about 7 inches) pumpkin per family. However, families may choose to bring their own larger pumpkin. Can’t make it for Family Fun Night but still want to enter a pumpkin in the contest? Decorate a pumpkin at home and bring it in by October 26 to be part of the voting. Registration is required. When registering, please register one person from your family, then complete the form to indicate how many family members will be attending and whether you plan to bring your own pumpkin.
